A highlight of the summer holiday in August 2023 for families at Connections and Ainsworth churches were fun days of games, activities and a picnic lunch.

There was something for everyone; whether sitting and chatting, colouring or some high-energy competitive games. It was all a lot of fun.

With thanks to everybody who made it happen.

What to do on a Sunday afternoon?

You could have been at The Triangle on Sunday 26th February to play African and Latin American drums!

Rome led members of Ainsworth Sunday School in an enjoyable session of drumming that was followed by Carrs pasties. With thanks to everybody who made it all happen - a great time - and looking forward to next time!

Santa took some time out before the big delivery session on Christmas Eve to visit the ABC Group children's party at The Triangle Methodist Church on Friday 16th December.
What a lot of happy smiling faces there were when all the presents came out of a huge bag!
Did you know that Santa delivers more parcels then Amazon!
ABC Group starts again Friday 13th January.

Circuit youth members had a marvellous evening on 26th November at Victoria Hall Bolton to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

What's more fun than a Halloween Party?
The Light Party and Silent Disco that took place at The Triangle Community Methodist Church on Sunday 30th October.
Imagine it! Singing and dancing to your favourite songs and nobody else can hear! A fun time for all who attended.

The end of September, the end of summer, so that means it's 3Generate weekend in Birmingham at the NEC again with over 1,000 young people from across the UK enjoying a range of activities, fun and fellowship together from 30th September to 2nd October.

There was a special event for Year 7 pupils in the Circuit on Friday 1st September 
at Connections Methodist Church as they prepared for a new school year.
'IT'S YOUR MOVE!' featured fun, games, and discussing the move to High School.
Participants heard about the changes to Apostle Peter's life as he became a follower of Jesus.
Everybody shared lunch together, followed by Holy Communion led by Rev'd Carolyn.
Thanks to everybody who made it a successful day.
The seaside came to Cornerstone Westhoughton on Wednesday 17th August.
There was seaside-themed craft, games, and of course playing in the sand for families from across Bolton.
It was a great day for all who attended, and the ice lollies went down a treat.
The penultimate Kids Summer Club event took place at The Triangle Community Church 
on Monday 15th August - only one more to go next week - so don't miss it!
There was lots to do for everyone, making owls and dogs, necklaces from clay, and lots of puzzles and games. At the end of a packed morning, everybody enjoyed lunch together.
Thanks to all who joined in and made for such a fun event.

The final 'Holiday at Home' event for 2022 took place on Wednesday 10th August at The Triangle Community Church. 
Not only another excellent lunch from 'Mo's Bakery', a performance from the musical group 'JET' and some of the amusing highlights as an Environmental Officer from Steve Maslivec. 
Another great day for all who attended.

How do you make a model owl from toilet roll tubes? You should have been at the second Kids Summer Club on 1st August to find out! 
On a lovely sunny day parents and children had great fun with table football, skittles, colouring, scrabble and lots more. Everybody enjoyed a hotdog lunch before taking their owls home.
Thank you to all volunteers who made it happen.

The first of three 'Holiday at Home' events took place for adult guests  on Wednesday 27th July at The Triangle Community Church. 
There was a full day of activities and entertainment with lunch included. All at no charge! 
Next events will take place 3rd and 10th August, and all are fully subscribed. 
Kids Summer Club got off to a great start on Monday 25th July at The Triangle Community Church with art and craft groups followed by lunch. 
Thanks to all the volunteers who worked to ensure everyone had a great time. 
The last event will be 22nd August, so join in and enjoy!
There was an early start to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Harwood Methodist Church on Wednesday 1st June with a Family Fun Morning. From 10am to 12noon there were crafts, games and laughter - see the pictures
A 'Messy Church' event was fun for all ages at Connections Community Church on April 6th.
Holy Week was explored through craft and worship and followed by lunch together
February half term holiday - was it wet and miserable?
No - young people from the Circuit were jump, jump, jumping for joy at Bolton Jump Extreme. There was an hour of trampolining and football followed by pizza and drinks. 
Great fun for adults and children. Join us next time.

What a fun session it was, with play, chat and refreshments followed by story-telling and songs.
